Miss Saigon

I was disappointed when I heard the news that miss Saigon on Campbell failed health inspections last 2 months. But I have been coming here for years and could not find any other pho restaurants that can match their taste. Yes the smell and cleanliness could be better but the food is very good. They say that a “hole in the wall” type restaurant usually taste good. Maybe this is the hole in the wall that locals go to despite less than stellar cleanliness. I may have to close one eye and one nostril when I come here but as long as I don’t fall ill I might just come back again! just look at the line at 12:30pm on Friday afternoon on the dead of July (see attached picture) either they’re blissfully ignorant of miss Saigon’s health inspection issues or they’re like me who doesn’t care as long as the food is good!

Pretty good Vietnamese food right near University of Arizona. Quite the busy Saturday night so it was really noisy. The food was pretty good, service was awesome, but the decor and ambience was about as drab as a junior high school cafeteria. If you are looking for romantic, fancy or peaceful, go elsewhere. Otherwise, the crowd looked happy with their food.

Service could have been better. But because of how good the food was, I still believe it's worth a 5 star rating. Very good!
